The Investment Working Group’s objective is to advocate for improvements in China’s investment environment in terms of market access and the general regulatory regime. The working group’s membership is comprised of service providers, including investment consultants, law firms, private equity and venture capital firms, and banks, as well as a range of large European manufacturers. The working group seeks to achieve a level playing field for
foreign investors – it was one of the first groups to introduce the concept of reciprocity and call for its full recognition in China. In addition, the Investment Working Group provides a platform for expertise-sharing among active foreign investors in China and professional investment advisors.
