Numerous applications were received from companies based in and outside of the European member states in the 2023 submission process. To highlight the successful stories of the winning applications from this year, we group the winners by the countries of origin. In this talk, we are inviting companies originating from France, FORVIA Faurecia China, Lesaffre, and VEOLIA, who won the 2023 SBA in these categories respectively - Decarbonisation Leader, Rural Development Pioneer, and Circular Economy Pioneer, to outline their successful projects and practices. To recognise the contribution of French companies to sustainability, the Chamber is also inviting a representative from the Consulate General of the Republic of France in Shanghai to deliver the closing remarks.

Halloween is approaching, and the European Chamber Shenyang Chapter, in collaboration with Conrad Hotel and DoTERRA essential oils, will be hosting a "Halloween Family Day" event on Sunday, October 29th, 2023. The event will take place at the Conrad Hotel's Gallery on the 88th floor. During the event, children and their parents will be invited to participate in activities like woolen yarn knit painting and making aroma stone diffusers (which can be taken home as souvenirs). Participants will also get to enjoy a delightful afternoon tea at Conrad Hotel while spending a pleasant weekend engaging in family activities.
