Located at the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Nansha in Guangzhou is the sole national new area in Guangdong Province and the largest area within the Guangdong Free Trade Zone. Nansha has successively been approved for national platforms, including the National Pilot Zone for Promoting Import Trade and Innovation, the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and policies such as relaxing market access and strengthening regulatory system reforms. In June 2022, the State Council issued the Master Plan of Guangzhou Nansha on Deepening Comprehensive Cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao with Global Perspective. This plan aims to propel Nansha into one of the regions with the highest number of strategic platforms and the highest level of openness in the Greater Bay Area. As the future landing point for Guangzhou, Nansha will offer new opportunities for European businesses in China.

The European Chamber is happy to invite you to the kick-off meeting of the Quality and Safety Services Sub-Working Group (QSS Sub-WG) which will take place onsite from Beijing and online on 27th March 09:30-10:30. If you want to join this meeting, please register here before 24th March COB.

The main topics for this meeting will be the revision of the activities of the WG in 2023, as well as the establishment of the WG priorities for 2024 and the discussion on the upcoming QSS Sub-WG Position Paper. Thus, members are strongly encouraged to join the discussion and provide input on the key issues which will likely shape the activities of the WG this year.
