The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security published on 5th July, 2015, the “Provisions related to the implementation of P.R.C. Labour Contract Law (draft)”. The European Chamber is delighted to have Ms. Sherry Gong, Counsel, Hogan Lovells, giving an overview of the new draft, explaining the importance of internal rules and regulations and detailing the key issues related to contract conclusion, performance and termination.
After outlining these critical updates, Ms. Gong will be joined by Ms. Susie Bates, Director, HR & Talent, Interpublic Group to discuss the practical implications of these updates.
International companies in China are confronted with an increasing competition to maintain and attract the best talents. While it is essential to create a framework that nurtures employee development, companies also need to ensure their practices are fully compliant with local laws and that they are not missing out on opportunities that have come with reform.
During the discussion, panelists will also touch upon a couple of the key trends of 2015 affecting HR and some of the latest industry hot topics. Fernando Cutanda, European Chamber HR Forum Chair, will then lead an interactive Q&A session between the audience and our panelists.
