Objectives:
Time and again, it has been demonstrated that the wisdom of the world's leading managers is not always up to the task of solving domestic enterprises’ management problems. Addressing itself to the specific characteristics of the Chinese market, the HEC Paris EMBA program has introduced the open session: Strategy Implementation - Through the Wisdom of Chinese Proverbs. In seeking solutions to these cross-cultural challenges, Professor Gogel will draw on his unique knowledge of ancient Chinese proverbs combined with his experience in implementing contemporary business strategies.
Have any of the following questions come about when supervising your team?
• Why do so many organizations fail to implement their strategy effectively?
• How can the process of implementation translate organizational strategy into action?
• What are the well-known pitfalls leading to the failure of strategy implementation?
• Which are the key components required for effective strategy implementation?
The answers to all of these questions can be found in traditional Chinese proverbs. This March 25th, our strategy implementation expert, Bob Gogel, will help you to interpret the wisdom of these proverbs and apply it to the implementation of your organizational strategies.
