The European Chamber in Shanghai invites you to meet representatives from the Shanghai Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (SAEFI).
The Association, active since 1988, primarily represents enterprises funded by foreign businessmen and by Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Chinese. Its scope is to enhance the understanding and the cooperation among local and foreign actors as well as local authorities.
Its activities include events on regulatory issues and policies, consultancy on investments, HR services, participation in local and international fairs. As of 1999, SAEFI has enlarged its scope of business, now being entitled, among others, to issue approval certificates to new foreign-funded enterprises, to mediate disputes, to handle import licenses and to carry out evaluations and assessments for technologically-advanced foreign-funded enterprises.
During the breakfast seminar, Mrs. Zhang RongJie, Secretary General of SAEFI will give a presentation on "Communication and service, brief introduction of SAEFI".
This seminar is part of the new series of events organized by the European Chamber aiming at strengthening the cooperation with local government key-players. Practical and pragmatic events are provided to foster mutual understanding and partnership with local political counterparts.
