Upcoming Activities of the NFM WG
1. March, Meeting with Shanghai Gold Exchange (Pending)
Shanghai Gold Exchange has tentatively accept the visit request from the NFM WG. The purpose of this visit to understand the operations of Gold Exchange. Detailed questions have been proposed to Shanghai Gold Exchange. The Chamber Secretariat is communicating closely with SGE to fix a date and time a.s.a.p.
2. 30th March, Chamber Secretariats to participate the EU Market Access Meeting on Raw Material as Industry Observers.
3. 11th April, at 10:00 am, Working Group Meeting at Chamber BJ and SH Offices featuring “Going West Discussion” followed by Chair Election and Position Paper Discussion
4. 25th May, Working Group Meeting featuring guest presentation(s) on innovation and sustainable development of raw material industry in China. (Pending)
5. 29th June, Waste Management Conference in Shanghai
A high-profile conference will bring together industry and opinion leaders, consultants, scholars and government, to gain insights into potential investment opportunities in the waste sector in China. The conference will blend issues surrounding policy framework, investment incentives, technology development and legal issues to optimise the development of waste industry in China with special focus on recycling and disposal.
