The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to an afternoon seminar on China’s Auto Industry: Inside and Outside China which will take place on 24th June at the Kerry Centre Hotel.
China exceeded the United States to be the world’s largest auto market for the first time last year. Driven by the huge domestic demand and with the help of foreign partners, Chinese carmakers have started to develop their own auto brands and improved the vehicle quality rapidly in pursuit of bigger market share at home and also business expansion to the emerging markets outside China. The latest Volvo acquisition by Geely Automobiles shows the growth might be accelerated in the coming years.
With such improved quality and cut-rate prices, the western carmakers who have dominated the markets for many decades may get into the battle against China's most successful brands not only in China but on the global stage in the near future.
Can China auto industry be a new entry of competition to the western car industry both at the global level and in China? What’s the prospect for China’s auto brands?
Join the discussion on June 24th where our invited specialists will share with you their insights on the future trends of China auto industry and its brands.
