NGO registration in China
Currently in China there are less then a handful of International Non-Governmental organizations (INGOs) legally recognized as NGOs and over a million INGOs operating in China registered as enterprises.
As the business community increasingly seeks close partnerships with NGOs, Jane Pierini, founder of PeopleLINK (an INGO registered as an enterprise in China), will give a presentation on her experiences in China. Following this presentation, this WG will explore the current NGO registration framework and the challenges this framework poses on both the NGO and the business community.
