The European Chamber Nanjing chapter is pleased to invite you to join this unique experience sharing seminar about TPM – Total Productive Maintenance training – basics and implementation methods, which based on the experience from Signify – Former Philips Lighting factory.
In past several years the Lean Strategy based on total involvement and continuous improvement gained a lot of attention and is seen as “The Way” in all kind of industries and processes.
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), originated from Nippondenso, a company that created parts for Toyota, today is one of the key “pillars” of Lean programs in the top manufacturing companies.
The main objective of TPM is to increase the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of plant equipment.
TPM addresses the causes for accelerated deterioration while creating the correct environment between operators and equipment to create ownership.
It can also be simply described as Zero Accidents, Zero Rejects, Zero Breakdowns approach.
On this training you will have a chance to understand the theoretical basics of TPM.
Learn the so called “step” approach to the key ingredients of TPM: Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Professional Maintenance (PM).
We will also discuss other critical elements like “Focused Improvement” and “Education and Learning”.
We will also share how the TPM was introduced in our Factory. You will meet with experts and practitioners that are implementing TPM and Lean in different organizations.
There will be a place for open discussion and dialogue. All the questions or points you want to verify can be put on the table for discussion.
