This year, the Logistics Working Group is going through a major structural reorganization. After the reorganization, the independent local working groups in Shanghai, Beijing and South China has become a National Logistics Working Group. The three chapters will closely coordinate with each other for joint meetings and lobby actions.
On April 1st, 2016, 16:30-18:00, the new National Logistics Working Group will host its inaugural meeting to discuss Position Paper 2016/2017. And the chair election for the new national working group will also be organized.
At this meeting, we will discuss the 2016/2017 Position Paper and select lead pens for this year’s Position Paper. Every year, the Logistics Working Group produces a Logistics Position Paper (PP), which aims to outline an up-to-date overview of the current conditions in logistics-related sectors in China and provide recommendations to relevant government stakeholders (MOT, GAC, CIQ, MOFCOM…) to improve regulatory environment.
Please kindly find attached last year’s Position Paper for your reference. If you would like to attend, please either register online or send your registration directly to Mr. Jim Hu at intern005@europeanchamber.com.cn by COB Thursday, March 31st, 2016.
