President Wuttke Met with Ambassador-designate to the European Union (EU), HE Mr Fu Cong

On 2nd November, President Jörg Wuttke was received by HE Mr FU Cong, Ambassador-designate to the EU, in Beijing. An open and frank exchange on current issues took place, with regard to bilateral relations, recent trade and investments between the two economies, COVID-19 containment and the development of European businesses in China.
President Wuttke conveyed his best wishes to the Ambassador-designate on his coming appointment in Brussels, and said he hoped that the two sides will maintain regular exchanges to jointly promote EU-China trade and economic development. President Wuttke also presented the recently published European Business in China Position Paper 2022/2023 and relevant reports to the Ambassador-designate.
