On 6th July, Chairman of European Chamber South China Board Mr. Klaus Zenkel and Vice Chairman of European Chamber South China Board Mr. Fabian Blake met with a government delegation led by vice president Mr. Liu Zewu of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangzhou Committee (CCPIT Guangzhou)

During the meeting, Mr. Klaus Zenkel introduced the member strength as well as recent works and publication of the European Chamber. Mr. Fabian Blake gave highlight findings regarding the Business Confidence Survey for Guangdong. Mr. Liu Zewu, vice president of CCPIT Guangzhou was pleased to have the opportunity to build up regular interaction with the chamber and share key information on how they can support the members doing business in Guangzhou. CCPIT Guangzhou updated the policy and opportunities in Greater Bay Area and proposed to work closely with the chamber on labour development issues and event cooperation.
Potential cooperation on holding seminars of policy and business opportunities briefing in Guangzhou, bridging the cooperation between vocational schools and the chamber members, initiating automation theme company visits and events in Guangzhou have been discussed between two parties.
