Consultation Meeting with National Medical Products Administration on Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulations (CSAR)

The discussion focused on four topics, which are the ingredients management, the adjustment of scope of special cosmetics, the legal obligation of products responsible person, and the management of cosmetics centralized trading market. The discussion was very productive and the attitude of NMPA on comments from industry were very open. Feedback from NMPA on this consultation meeting was very positive, and they thought that the industry prepared well for this meeting. CSAR is likely to be published by the end of this year.
