Job description
Position Overview:
DKU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative (InE) serves as a platform and resource center to foster interdisciplinarity in practice, nurture entrepreneurship by experiential learning, and transform ideas into actions with a meaningful impact. To achieve those goals, we are developing four strategic programs under the InE: DKU Innovation Incubator (Dii); University-Corporate Collaborative Innovation Lab (U-Corp); Innovation Lab (InLab), and Future Society Lab (FSLab).
The Program Assistant will play an important role in supporting the Innovation & Entrepreneurship (InE) ecosystem at DKU by ensuring smooth daily operations, effective communication, and high-quality program delivery. The role combines program coordination, student support, and administrative functions. Working closely with students, mentors, faculty, and staff, the Program Assistant will help create a well-organized and collaborative environment that enables innovative projects and activities to thrive.
Additionally, the Program Assistant will lead communication efforts by managing digital media platforms, creating marketing materials, and promoting events to enhance the program’s visibility and engagement.

Essential Duties:
Program Support and Student Services
1. Coordinate and implement a wide range of activities and events, including training sessions, practicum programs, workshops, conferences, pitch roadshows, and project reviews.
2. Provide comprehensive student support by maintaining regular communication and assisting with non-academic issues related to project participation.
3. Assist faculty and mentors in organizing project-related activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Data Management and Reporting
1. Manage and maintain accurate data for all DKU Innovation Incubator teams, including assignments, reports, student records, archived documents, and team financial accounts.
2. Administer and update various platforms (e.g., Canvas, Dachuang platform, Internet+, Tansoole) to track student assignments, submissions, and reports.
3. Collect, analyze, and organize program-related data to prepare reports, presentations, and evaluation summaries for leadership and stakeholders.
4. Support assessment and impact measurement of incubator projects, including surveys, feedback forms, and performance tracking.
Communication and Marketing
1. Maintain, update, and grow the program’s digital presence across websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and other online channels.
2. Design and produce high-quality communication materials such as posters, event graphics, brochures, reports, and digital campaigns.
3. Develop and implement strategic communication and marketing plans to promote events, workshops, competitions, and student achievements.
4. Strengthen engagement with internal audiences by sharing success stories, student testimonials, and impact case studies.
Administrative Operations
1. Manage financial planning for Dii student teams, including reimbursement processes, fund allocation, expense tracking, budget records, and asset management.
2. Handle daily administrative duties including correspondence, meeting preparation, agenda documentation, and recordkeeping.
3. Coordinate event logistics such as scheduling, venue booking, catering, travel arrangements, and guest invitations for program events
4. Assist in drafting contracts, agreements, and official program documents with external mentors, speakers, or collaborators.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
6. University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the university grows in size and complexity in its programs.
Skills & experience
Required Qualifications:
1. A full-time bachelor’s degree is required.
2. Past work experience is preferred. Outstanding recent graduate students will also be considered.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
4. Ability to resolve complex administrative problems independently.
5. Experience with social media management and content creation.
6. Strong interests in new technologies, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Willing to learn new things and adapt to new ideas.
7. The ability to work in a team environment requires efficient communication, flexibility, and professionalism.
8. Prior experience in program coordination, student services, or event planning preferred.
9. Proficient English skills in reading, writing, and speaking are required.
