Job description
JOB SUMMARY 岗位摘要
Create and deliver on appropriate strategy for LEGOLAND Shenzhen Resort (Hereafter refer as LLSZR) to reach agreed guest numbers for Park, Water Park and Hotels as well as meet admission revenue and EBITDA targets. This includes development of sales and marketing strategy and plans, directs and coordinates the marketing and sales efforts for LLSZR, both internal and external as well as domestic and international, to meet or exceed the given targets. Furthermore, ensure to build the LEGOLAND brand both short and long term to support long term growth and based on a successful launch of LLSZR.
About Job
1. Develops and maintains effective strategic partnerships and working relationships with LEGO, key staff from Merlin Entertainments and other LEGOLAND parks, the tour and travel industry, hospitality, corporate, community groups, and external resources and vendors plus local government.
2. Formulates, develops, refines, finalizes, and implements an annual sales and marketing operating plan. Develops long term marketing strategies based on projections and objectives. Sets goals and objectives, develops operating and staffing budgets, and determines timelines to meet volume, revenue and profitability targets. Suggest correction actions if needed to meet targets
3. Analyzes pricing and supports per cap goals. Analyzes attendance trends and research to generate new and innovative marketing programs and based on research put forward recommendations and advise on marketability of new attractions for LLSZR..
4. Provides information on attendance patterns and performance of sales and promotional, initiatives, able to provide data to inform and shape decision making.
5. Ensure a robust Divisional marketing plan is in place for product and experience across each channel, sponsoring innovation in identifying new markets. Use data and market analysis to anticipate and meet consumer needs to grow customer base.
6. Maintains effective business relationships and manages the utilization of external resources to maximize effectiveness and manage costs. Monitors pull and effectiveness of LLSZR media.
7. Directs and manages public and communications relations, advertising, promotions, loyalty programs, market research and sponsorships, sales, revenue management staff and functions. In close cooperation with regional Director /Heads set direction and plans for direct marketing, e-marketing and trade sales operation
8. Ongoing trickeries’ follow up on marketing expenses to ensure investment stays within the given budget frames.
9. Secure the establishment of a strong motivated Sales and Marketing organization with the right skill level and competencies and clear roles and responsibilities to execute the agree launch campaign and to meet the set targets within each function as well as overall awareness, visit intension, attendance and revenue targets
10. Develops and supports LLSZR’s strategic and operating plans as a member of the executive leadership team. Participates in planning, policy and direction setting, problem solving and decision making with other members of the leadership team.
Skills & experience
About You
1. Demonstrable experience (approx. 10 years) delivering business growth through marketing strategy.
2. Managing a significant budget with responsibility for P&L.
3. Be a great leader with experience managing a team. Building high-performing team.
4. Be creative, resilient, proactive, and reactive whilst seeing the bigger picture.
5. Ability to operate both on a strategic directional level (empowerment) and tactical.
6. level (hands-on) in executing agreed plans.
7. Experience in establish new organizations with clear roles and responsibilities and processes (SOP) an advantage.
8. Fluent English in verbal and written communications is required.
