Job description
Job Summary MOOV, a Shanghai-based logistics solutions provider founded in 2013 with over a century of industry heritage, specializes in connecting China and global markets through tailor-made services including shipping agency, freight forwarding, 4PL solutions, warehousing, and end-to-end logistics innovation. We are actively seeking a Supplier Key Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison for key overseas suppliers, driving operational excellence through daily communication, KPI-driven performance management, and collaborative problem-solving. This role will leverage MOOV’s 4PL capabilities and cross-functional expertise to optimize supply chains, align suppliers with our operational standards, and unlock new value in a fast-evolving global market. Responsibilities
•Daily Supplier Communication & Support:-Act as the primary contact for major overseas suppliers, ensuring smooth communication on a daily basis via emails and calls. -Provide guidance on internal processes, system, and special arrangements during major holidays (e.g., Chinese New Year, Eid in Bangladesh). -Address logistics-related issues or direct suppliers to the appropriate contacts for resolution.
•Supplier Performance Management:-Monitor and drive suppliers’ logistics KPI performance based on SOPs. -Organize regular review meetings with suppliers to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
•Supply Chain Optimization & Issue Resolution:-Identify pain points in suppliers’ supply chain management. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Warehouse, Sales) to develop alternative logistics solutions tailored to suppliers' needs.
•Business Development & Value Creation:-Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commercial awareness. -Identify potential business opportunities through daily interactions with suppliers and contribute to value-added service development.
•Customer Relationship Management:-Maintain strong relationships with suppliers by providing proactive advisory support. -Ensure timely delivery of reports and respond promptly to client needs.
•Presentation & Reporting: -Develop and deliver clear and structured presentations to internal and external stakeholders. -Work closely with the Business Analyst team, providing logical reasoning and requirements for new reports, ensuring they align with business needs and improve decision-making.
Skills & experience
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
•At least 3 years managing key accounts/suppliers in logistics or supply chain companies.
•Fluent in English (excellent writing, speaking, listening) for daily cross-cultural communication.
•Strong in Excel, Word, PPT.
•Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable to diverse cultures.
