About the project:
EU-China (Asia) action on consumer protection and non-food product safety in Asia is an EU funded project, SPEAC is short for“Safe non-food consumer Products in the EU and China”.
SPEAC is an information and training programme designed to help Chinese manufacturers sell safely to the EU. This is good news for both manufacturers and EU consumers. The partnership project between the European Union and China is implemented by GIZ International Services (Germany) and is funded by the European Commission.
Job description
The Tasks:
This internship request working at least 3 days per week, for at least 6 months or more.
Supporting project implementation
- Support the project team with translating/reviewing/proof reading of project documents, especially the English ones (e.g., meeting minutes)
- Support the project team with activities coordination (e.g., online/offline training events, meetings etc.)
- Assisting regularly checking the project digital platforms (SPEAC website/SPEAC WeChat channel), reviewing, and supporting with creative feedbacks.
- Other assignments by the project team.
Assisting project administrative and financial operation
- Filing and tracking documents for DMS system on monthly basis.
- Following the instruction from the Financial Manager to manage the project tools (Time Sheets / Monitoring Tool)
- Support the project team with travel document in line with company and EUD rules and answer questions to experts that are on missions.
- Managing the project email account.
- Other administrative works when needed by the project team.
Skills & experience
Qualification requirements:
The candidate should be:
- Master’s degree with major in English or related/ /International Relationship or related/ Journalism/Public policy etc.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- International experience would be preferable (i.e. studied / exchange program abroad).
- Demonstrate good MS Office knowledge. (especially with Excel, PPT, Outlook)
- A quick learner, abstract thinking, and a results-driven attitude.
