Work independently and with the Design Department Director and Project Architects in order to arrange and develop the design job.

Conducting research and analysis as needed for a project.

Implement all the ongoing projects through the design team.

Provide leadership to client and team by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Assisting Design Department Director and senior level staff in developing a design strategy and dealing with Clients, Local Authorities, Design Institutes, external consultants and contractors.

Manage project life-cycle, estimating, bidding, project kick-off, weekly coordination, punch list, turnover, opening, and project close-out.

Draft and manage milestone, scheduling, budgets, staffing, and project set-up with clients, sub-contractors and contractors.

Track and manage financial performance of project for success (e.g. work plan, schedule, fees, change orders, billings and collections).

Hands-on design and drafting role from Concept to Construction drawings, including production of information for projects (CAD drawings, Sketch Up models, presentations etc.).

Provision of information on Chinese Codes and Building Regulations, as well as information on Chinese market standards, building products/materials, tender procedures, and Local Authorities approvals etc.

Overlooks the execution of the projects and ensure the delivering per the established company standards as well as Chinese regulation and codes.

Implement Company Quality System throughout the jobs, and contribute to the overall implementation of office procedures.

Attending meetings both inside and outside the firm pertaining to existing and potential projects as well as site attendance as needed.

Provide support in business development and marketing activities to promote company works.

Assisting in the production of marketing material, and presentation packages for promotion and potential clients.

Implement continuous development of own skills and expertise.

Mentor and train more junior staff members.

Business trips as requested by Party A, both for current jobs management and for potential business development activities. These may require overnight stays.

Support to Design Director in, written and oral, communication with Chinese counterpart.

Other duties as assigned.
