Jointly hosted by AmCham China and European Chamber, Dr. Peiyuan Guo, founder and general manager of Syntao, a leading CSR consultancy in China, presented their latest research “2015-2016 CSR Practitioners’ Professional Development Report” on August 29th. Dr. Guo outlined the key findings of the survey and analyzed new challenges and opportunities for CSR professionals who are struggling in China’s fast-changing environment. In his presentation, Dr. Guo also examined the implications of the typical CSR career path in China’s business community. Practical career advices were given to young CSR professionals who are passionate about establishing a firm foothold in the field. After the presentation, Mr. Boyong Yuan, European Chamber CSR Forum Chair, moderated a panel discussion on “CSR Practitioners Career Path in China” together with two other corporate representatives. Around 20 people attended the session.
