On 8th July, AmCham and the European Chamber held a joint discussion on China’s Overseas NGO Management Law (NGO Law) and its implications for the foreign business community in China. The Chair of AmCham’s Policy Committee and the Chair of the European Chamber’s CSR Forum both shared their concerns regarding the NGO Law’s impact on business practices and briefed participants on their ongoing advocacy efforts with relevant stakeholders. Both sides expressed interest in joint advocacy efforts on this issue to create a more influential voice on behalf of the foreign business community in China.
