The European Chamber Pharmaceutical Working Group is delighted to invite you to the 2023 Chair Election and Position Paper Discussion, to be held at 10.00 – 12.00, Wednesday 22nd March (arrival starts at 9.50), at European Chamber’s Beijing and Shanghai Offices. China will convene its national legislature and top political advisory body for the first session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) in Beijing on the 4th and 5th March 2023 respectively.

Known as the ‘Two Sessions’(Lianghui), these annual meetings are attended by delegates and party members from across the country to discuss key political and economic issues and make central decisions. The Two Sessions are of particular interest to the international business community as it will set China’s political and economic precedent for the rest of the year.
