MeetUp for Innovative companies in Guangzhou

The European Chamber is inviting you to join its “MeetUp for Innovative companies” on March 28th from 18:30 to 21:00 at Happy Monk in Guangzhou

Following various exchanges between member companies on topics such as industry 4.0, connectivity, 5G, security assessment of cross-border data transfer (CBDT), cybersecurity law, members expressed interest in getting to know and exchanging ideas with other members who are doing innovation.

Located at the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Nansha in Guangzhou is the sole national new area in Guangdong Province and the largest area within the Guangdong Free Trade Zone. Nansha has successively been approved for national platforms, including the National Pilot Zone for Promoting Import Trade and Innovation, the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and policies such as relaxing market access and strengthening regulatory system reforms. In June 2022, the State Council issued the Master Plan of Guangzhou Nansha on Deepening Comprehensive Cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao with Global Perspective. This plan aims to propel Nansha into one of the regions with the highest number of strategic platforms and the highest level of openness in the Greater Bay Area. As the future landing point for Guangzhou, Nansha will offer new opportunities for European businesses in China.
广州南沙地处粤港澳大湾区地理几何中心,是广东省唯一国家新区、广东自贸试验区面积最大片区,先后获批国家进口贸易促进创新示范区、综合保税区、放宽市场准入与加强监管体制改革等国家级重大平台政策。2022年6月,国务院印发《广州南沙深化面向世界的粤港澳全面合作总体方案》,推动南沙成为大湾区战略平台最多、开放程度最高的地区之一。作为未来广州的落脚点,南沙将为在华欧洲企业提供新的机遇。

The 1st China-Europe Sports Summit ‘Moving Together’ follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the European Chamber and China’s General Administration of Sports (GAS) to build bridges between sports communities in Europe and China. European sports companies in China are keen to support China’s community goals by promoting healthy lifestyles, sports activities and wellness to create a better life for all. Bringing together European Sports companies, government stakeholders and the local communities through the integration of sports and education to promote the development of sports in China is a core goal of this initiative.

The half-day summit will see experts analyse various aspects of the fast-developing sports landscape in China, with panel discussions featuring representatives from European sports companies, sports opinion leaders and government representatives. The event will delve deeper into trending topics in the industry, such as the development of a winter sports industry, youth sports development, motorsport as well as the current landscape of the China market as well as the wider ecosystem of the sports industry.
