Against the backdrop of tightened data, cybersecurity and generative AI regulations in China, corporate compliance teams widely adopt large language models to streamline regulatory review, risk screening, contract auditing and policy drafting. While Microsoft Copilot and mainstream Western LLMs (GPT series, Claude, Gemini) deliver robust general reasoning capabilities, they face irreconcilable legal, data-sovereignty, technical, and industry-specific limitations when deployed by China-based compliance functions. Through a combination of strategic insights and practical experiences shared in this closed-door session, we will see how AI is influencing corporate compliance approaches and how businesses are translating emerging technologies into real-world applications.
