To help members better understand and fully utilize relevant policy, the European Chamber Tianjin Chapter will host an exclusive policy interpretation session with the Tianjin Commerce Bureau Service Trade Division (天津市商务局服务贸易处) on 22nd January 2025 in Tianjin.

On 16th June 2023, the Tianjin Commerce Bureau and Tianjin Finance Bureau jointly issued a notice on Submission of Applications for the 2023 Central Government Foreign Trade Development Special Fund to Support Innovation in Service Trade (Interest Subsidy Project) 市商务局 市财政局《关于2023年中央外经贸发展专项资金支持服务贸易创新发展（贴息项目）申报工作的通知》. The notice encourages and supports businesses’ importing and exporting relevant services, technology etc. by offering a certain ratio of interest refund.
This policy is paused in the year 2024 and will be re-activated soon in 2025. Service trade covers a wide range of industries. If there is inbound or outbound service trade (using foreign currency) within your organization or in your business, this policy is relevant and worth looking into.
European Chamber Tianjin Chapter invited Ms. Zhang Yang, Deputy Division Chief of Service Trade Division from Tianjin Commerce Bureau to elaborate details on the relevant policies.
