Events are held in English and follow the Chatham House rule unless otherwise stated.
Advisory Council Policy
Members of the Advisory Council may receive complimentary admission to Chamber seminars, conferences and factory visits up to two attendees per event. Additional participants will be charged at the member rate.
Advisory Council members will still be charged the standard member rate for participation in training courses and special events, such as gala balls, government appreciation dinners, or admission to corporate social events/tournaments.

Kenny Zhao graduated from ECUST(East China University of Science and Technology) and Duke University, with the major of Environmental Engineering. He worked for Solvay for more than 10 years, hold the position of Environment and Rehabilitation Manager, APAC.
His work focus on Environmental regulatory compliance (audit, training, consulting), Plant environmental operation, Sustainable Development Management/ESG/Carbon Neutral/Green Chemistry/Circular Economy, Environmental Project Management (Waste water and waste gas treatment project), Site Investigation(Routine investigation for site in operation, Due Diligence investigation projects on the sites from acquisition or shut down or relocation), Contaminated Site Consulting and Remediation.

Ling currently is the Strategic Director of regional segment at powder coating business unit at Akzo Nobel China. As the Strategic Director, Ling is heading up the strategy implementation and operation of powder coating business in Asia Pacific region, driving business growth, and enhance the marketing leading position of Resicoat branding at Asia Pacific region. She led the new product launch and market devilment of powder coating, aiming to meet the increasingly market demand in powder coating solutions, as well as to drive the mid-long term sustainable development by cutting-edge and innovative solutions. Resicoat is successfully achieving its sustained development in the Asia Pacific market under Ling’s leadership, significantly enhancing its market share. Ling continues to bring in new opportunities for the brand and the powder coating business.
Prior to Akzo Nobel, Ling was taking leadership roles at 3M China, Tesa Tape, and Avery Dennison with rich experience in marketing and development.
Ling is holding a master degree from Tongji University, specialised in material physics and chemicals. In her bachelor time, she graduated from East China University of Science and Technology in Applied Chemical with Top 3 academic result.

China Sales Director, Adey
Jill Wang graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and she has been working in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry for more than 10 years, now is working for ADEY as China Sales Director. ADEY is a leading water treatment company focusing on the water treatment of sealed HVAC systems.
Jill's got rich experiences working with many leading European & China HVAC companies. She joined ADEY since 2021, with the company they will commit to influence and lead the HVAC system water treatment innovation globally.
Mr. Kamel SAAD
Mr. Kamel SAAD
Mr. Kamel SAAD was graduated from the University of Paris XI, specializing in Polymer Materials. He joined SNF in 2006 as a sales Manager. Mr. Saad currently oversees the SNF China Shanghai office, leading a team of over sales personnel and technical engineers. His purview extends to the eastern region of China, including Shandong, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces, where expanding into new markets.
Mr. Saad boasts an extensive background in the Chinese Waste Water Treatment sector, having contributed to significant projects in collaboration with government entities. Maintaining long term cooperation and stable business with the end users. He has fostered enduring partnerships and stable business relations with end-users, achieving success with major sewages plants such as Chengtou Group in Shanghai, Baipai in Beijing, among others.
In addition to fostering closes ties with local companies, Mr. Saad has also established robust cooperation with prominent international companies, including Veolia-Suez, AlphaLaval. Under his leadership, the SNF Shanghai office has ventured into new market within the WWT sector, such as dredging projects aimed at treating the water of the rivers and lakes.

Bruno Lhopiteau has a 30-year track record helping public infrastructures and industrial plants in Asia to control technical risks, ensure regulatory compliance and optimize their assets. In 2004, he founded Siveco China, a leader in the Chinese environmental market in the development of Smart O&M technologies aimed at implementing best work practices from top management to technicians. Water industry clients include Suez, Veolia, Capital Eco-pro, Beijing Environment, Hong Kong EPD, Zhongshan Water, Hongcheng Water, Singapore PUB, and many more. In his spare time, Bruno lectures on Industrial Risk Management at Shanghai University, writes a regular column in Aquatech “Masters of Water” magazine and speaks at conferences on related topics.

Mr. Michael Kruppe is the General Manager of Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). SNIEC is the leading exhibition and expo venue in Asia. With 200,000 square meters indoor and 100,000 square meters outdoor exhibition space, SNIEC matches all expectations from international and local show organizers for a successful event. Since its opening in 2001, SNIEC has made a rapid development with hosting over 100 shows and welcoming about 5 million visitors annually. With over 70% venue occupancy rate, SNIEC is one of the most successful expo centers in the world.
Mr. Kruppe has 27 Years China experience including setting up operations, sales network and production facilities in China, and taking the full revenue responsibility up to one billion RMB. Mr. Kruppe also holds the leadership positions in various associations of event industry, such as Member of Board of Directors of The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), Vice Chairman of Modern Service Industry Association of Shanghai Pudong New District, Member of Board of Directors of German Center, and Vice Chairman of China Association for Exhibition Centers. He lives in Shanghai, China and speaks fluent German, English and Chinese.
