The third HRD Roundtable will centre on the theme "The Role of the HR Function in the Ongoing Transformation from CSR to ESG," held at the European Chamber Shanghai Office on Tuesday, 10th September 2024. This discussion will be moderated by Ms Jeanette Yu, National Chair of the HR Working Group and Partner, Head of Employment & Pensions at CMS China, alongside Dr Ioana Kraft, Associate Director at X-PM Transition Partners. Ms Heidi Berg, ESG and Sustainability Director at DI-Asia Base, will share her insights on the critical role of HR in driving ESG transformation.

Ms. Heidi Berg is leading the work at the Danish Confederation of Industries China office developing and delivering ESG services for local Chinese operations, connecting to European regulations and customer demands.
She has worked on projects related to sustainability and ESG over the last fourteen years, both in Europe, Africa, South Asia, and China. Her experience includes investment projects in renewable energy and sustainable agriculture, financial inclusion, the textile industry, and low-emission real estate. She is a highly recognized keynote speaker and discussion facilitator.
Heidi Berg holds a master’s degree in international management with specialization in finance and is a certified sustainability professional by the global leading ESG reporting framework GRI.
