The transportation of dangerous goods is a key part of global supply chains, with companies across various sectors relying on the timely delivery of a wide variety of goods considered to be dangerous. Air cargo is an important link in this chain, as it is the quickest, and often most practical way to move dangerous goods.
The Logistics Working Group invites you to join an overview of the latest policy developments and best practices for moving dangerous goods by air. Dr Cheng Donghao, Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China’s (CAAC’s) Dangerous Goods Transport Management Centre will deliver an overview of the latest relevant policy updates in China. Mr Shen Chenfeng, General Manager of GBK-China, will discuss Germany’s new dangerous goods competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) system as well as other developments in dangerous goods transport. This will be followed by a question-and-answer session in which members can better understand both the EU and China’s approaches to dangerous goods transport.
