Adam’s career has focused on trade & investment advocacy, promotion and association management. As the European Chamber’s secretary general, he is responsible for the overall implementation of its objectives, visibility, membership and advocacy activities across its 7 chapters and 9 offices in China (Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Shenyang and Tianjin).

Dr. Christoph Schrempp is the General Manager of Airbus Tianjin Delivery Centre Ltd. In 2021, he was elected again to be the Chairman of the EUCCC Tianjin Chapter Board. He is an experienced senior manager with over 22 years of international leadership and industrial lobbying, having worked in various roles at Airbus in China and in Germany as well as served on German Board of Standardization for Cabin DIN/NL. He has nearly 10 years of experience with being involved in government dialogue including with the Chinese government, having served on the Board of EUCCC Tianjin Chapter in various roles including the chairman and vice-chairman. He has a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Stuttgart University in Germany.

Ms. Heidi Berg
Ms. Heidi Berg is leading the work at the Danish Confederation of Industries China office developing and delivering ESG training and services for local Chinese operations, connecting to European regulations and customer demands. She has worked with projects related to sustainability and ESG over the last fourteen years, both in Europe, Africa, South Asia and China. Her experience includes investment projects in renewable energy and sustainable agriculture, financial inclusion, textile industry and low emission real estate. Heidi Berg holds a master’s degree in international management with specialization in finance and is a certified sustainability professional by the global leading ESG reporting framework GRI.

Dr. Gao Peng is the Senior Commercial Officer of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing/Innovation Norway China. He has many years of senior management experience in Chinese large enterprises and Norway-China Joint venture in management, sales and investment. Energy Management Program Project Manager of the Commercial Section of Norwegian Embassy from 2009. Currently as the Senior Commercial Officer of the Norwegian Embassy, as well as ReConnect China Project Manager of IN, focus on energy and environment, energy conservation & environment protection technologies and sustainable development etc., especially in hydrogen, ammonia and CCUS etc.

Emily Luo is Vice Chair of Construction workgroup of EUCCC(Beijing); Senior Strategy Advisor of VELUX China; Board Member of Danish Chamber of Commerce in China; Fellow of Global Climate Innovation & Governance Center; Deputy Secretary General of the MNC Forum for Carbon Neutrality. Emily has a wealth of experience working with Nordic companies and countries, familiar with Nordic industries and cultures. She has served for Innovation Norway at Norwegian Embassy and the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China over the past two decades.
Emily worked for VELUX China since June 2019. As a strategic advisor of the company, she is dedicated to promoting the concepts and practices of sustainable growth in China , ranging from sustainable buildings Active House to carbon neutrality and Danish healthy lifestyle; integrating advantages of Nordic and Danish enterprises into China's dual carbon goals to help China's high-quality growth.

Wesley Fan is the Executive Director of Global Supply Chain leading Strategy, Risk and Security, Sustainability at Lenovo based in Beijing. He has almost 20 years’ experience serving various leadership roles in high-tech companies including manufacturing, quality management, project management, and Lean Six Sigma operational excellence. Wesley drives innovation and collaboration in ESG across the global supply chain to align supply chain environmental stewardship and social responsibility with business success. He is the chair of the GSC ESG Committee and sits on the corporate ESG Executive Oversight Committee.

Mr. Jin is the Vice Chair of European Chamber Carbon Market Working Group, Team Lead China Carbon/Senior Analyst Energy Transition, LSEG. Before joining LSEG, Mr. Jin worked at State Grid Corporation of China and State Power Investment Corporation, holding positions such as Financial Specialist and Investment Manager. He has over 10 years of experience in the energy sector and has been deeply involved in several cross-border energy mergers and acquisitions as well as greenfield renewable energy development projects, gaining extensive experience in investment and development in the power industry.
In 2021, he joined LSEG as the Team Lead China Carbon, focusing his research on China's energy transition, power market reform, green environmental rights, carbon markets, and carbon price forecasting.

YI Jiang is currently the director of Public Affairs & Sustainability of Bayer (China) Ltd., a life sciences company headquartered in Germany, focusing on healthcare and agriculture.
YI Jiang has been deeply engaged in the healthcare sector for nearly two decades, covering areas such as international trade regulations and policies, safety testing and certification, sustainability, digital economy, public affairs, and corporate communications.
YI Jiang has been involved multiple times in the localisation of foreign investment projects in China and in the drafting and publication of international standards.
YI Jiang holds a bachelor's degree from Nanjing Normal University and a master's degree from Fudan University.

Vincent Song joined TotalEnergies Envision Services in 2022 as Vice President, responsible for project development, investment decision-making, technical support, and marketing. Before joining TEESS, Vincent worked at Sungrow, a global leader in renewable energy technology, as the Head of Overseas Business Development , responsible for the overseas renewable energy power station development business. He focused on breakthroughs and deep cultivation in emerging market businesses, achieving market entry in Central Asian and successfully penetrating the Cambodian market. Vincent has been deeply involved in the renewable energy market for nearly 20 years and has been managing international new energy project development and investment for 10 years.
Dr. Wenxuan Xie
Dr. Wenxuan Xie
Wenxuan is currently a Decarbonization business development manager of Maersk in China. His responsibilities include but not limited to green fuel project market development and project scouting, renewable power and green fuel market intelligence and value chain modelling, shipping decarbonization policy lobbying. Prior to joining Maersk, he was a senior analyst and managing consultant at Wood Mackenzie, where he led the coverage of the China Power Market including analytics, modelling and market intelligence. Wenxuan also worked in Vestas as a Power-to-X specialist.
He developed PtX.Wizard application, which is one of the first Power-to-X value chain optimization and financial analysis software in the industry. He (co-) authored multiple research reports on:
— China long-term provincial power price forecast up to 2050
— LCOE/LCOH forecast for China and Japan
— China’s energy policy in 14th FYP
He holds a PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Geertje Richter is an experienced finance and M&A professional currently serving as CFO at Flender Ltd. China, overseeing key functions including accounting, tax, treasury, strategic procurement, and IT with 2,100 employees. She has led several M&A projects and integrations, including the acquisition of Moventas Group, and managed significant financial transformations at Flender GmbH.
Previously, Richter also run her own consultancy specializing in transactions, strategy, and finance. And she was Senior Vice President at Schenck Process Holding, handling global strategy, M&A, and business development, and was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she managed over 80 transaction projects. She holds a degree in Business and Engineering from the University of Technology Dresden and is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).

Lily Yang, female, Sustainability Director of Ireata, Bachelor's degree, graduated from the Jilin University of Technology, Senior Engineer, Senior registered ESG Analyst.
In 2021 she organised the team to establish the company's energy management system and dual carbon system, led the team to establish a carbon management system according to the requirements of ISO14067 and ISO14064, obtained the certification of product carbon footprint and organizational carbon verification in 2021, and obtained the management level (Level B) in CDP climate questionnaire in 2023, exceeding the average level of the industry in Asia.

Elaine Chen was appointed Vice President, DHL Corporate Office Beijing in June 2022. Elaine is responsible for political communication and representation of DHL’s interests of Corporate Public Affairs in the region.
Prior to her current role, Elaine worked in Honeywell China for 15 years, as Corporate Government Relations Senior Director of Asia Pacific and Key Account General Manager, Honeywell Building Technology. Elaine participated broadly in field of Aerospace, petrochemical, digital technology, etc.
Before Honeywell, Elaine worked in Intel Co. Ltd. Shanghai as Public Affairs leader.
Elaine is now the National Chairman of the Logistic Working Group, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. She was the chairman of the Shanghai American Chamber Government Affairs Committee for two years from 2017-2018, and Jinan Mayor’s International Economic Consultation Commission member.
Elaine obtained her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Jilin University China, and master’s degree in Science from National University of Singapore.

Eric Xie has over 30 years of experience working for US and EU companies. He entered the Chinese heating industry in 2000, and joined BDR Thermea in 2011, he participated in and witnessed the rise & growth of China’s Gas Wall-Hung Boiler industry. Since 2019, he has served as the chair & leadership team of the Europe China Heating Initiative(ECHI).
In the past 25 years, the local heating industry experienced two significant energy transitions. One was Coal-to-Gas, including Low-NOx retrofits. The other was the Coal-to-Electricity, including some Gas-to-Electricity, an attempt to electrify heating technology.
