Ms. Carol Zhou
Background:
Carol joined KPMG tax team in 2020. Before she joined KPMG, Carol had 11 years’ working experience in Nanjing National Taxation Bureau. She also worked as a tax director in a top 100 real estate company in China, which is a Hong Kong-listed company.
Professional and Industry Experience:
During her work in the taxation bureau, Carol worked in different positions in various business lines such as tax policy administration, tax collection and management, tax inspection, etc. She is familiar with the internal management mode and operating process of the taxation bureau, and has been selected into the Large-scale Enterprise Management Brain Bank of Jiangsu Provincial Taxation Bureau.
Carol has rich experience in the real estate industry and other related fields, such as estate management, long-term rental, real estate fund, etc. Her major project experience includes coordination with tax bureaus, daily tax issue consultation, internal tax risk control, dispute resolution, tax inspection management, supply chain planning，IPO tax-related issues, etc.
Mr. Johnny Li
Background:
Johnny is a Tax Senior Manger with KPMG China. He has 12 years of specialist tax experience in China providing tax advice to multinational companies and domestic companies. He serves client across various industries including life science, auto and auto parts, funds, consumer, information technology and entertainment, etc.
Professional and Industry Experience:
With the rapid change of Asian economic and tax environment, many companies are facing problems or difficulties in its operation. Johnny Li, who witnessed all the recent changes, has been viewed as an valuable advisor to many companies with his rich experience and deep understanding of the macro mega trend and the micro-regulatory changes.
