Course Description 课程描述

This highly practical session will help you develop strategies and confidence in dealing with all aspects of organising and running meetings in a professional setting where English is the medium of communication.

Participants in the training session will be expected to contribute both orally and in written form throughout the day. For this reason, attendees will be expected to have a minimum level of spoken and written English. PowerPoint slides will be in English only.

本次课程极具实用性，将帮助您在以英语为交流媒介的专业环境中制定决策、培养信心，涉及到制定计划、处理问题、组织和举办会议的方方面面。

参与者将全天参与英语口语以及书面表达训练。因此，参与者需要具备基本的英语口语和书面表达能力。讲师的PowerPoint 课件仅为英文版。

John Fowler is from Oxfordshire, England, and works for Coventry University as Programme Director and Assistant Professor in Transnational Education on the Commercial Law LLB joint programme delivered collaboratively with the Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, China. John is an experienced language practitioner having worked in this field for over 15 years and has worked in extensively in Spain and the UK prior to coming to China. His background in language testing makes gives him insight into the challenges facing non-native English users, especially those in SW China.
