Dear HRDs,
The Shanghai Chapter of the European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next HRD Roundtable “HR Challenges in China: Retention, Decrease in Foreign Talent, Compliance and Legal Risks”, which is taking place on 16th November at 10am at our Shanghai Office and Zoom.
The landscape of HR work has been dramatically changing in the past two years, bringing along challenges to HR leaders in every industry. In China, HR is specially affected by difficulties in foreign national employee attraction and retention; current immigration policies significantly lowering the foreign talent pool; and changes in labour landscape and policies highlighting the importance of compliance locally. In addition, there is added pressure for global companies whom may have to battle differing considerations between foreign headquarters and local branches in China.
At this HRD Roundtable, Ms Zheng Lu, who leads the employment practices of Baker McKenzie FenXun's Shanghai Office, will share her expertise in the challenges for HR leaders mentioned above. Her presentation will be followed by an engaging networking session where fellow HR Directors can share their expertise and questions.
Registration is non-transferable and limited to serving corporate HRDs. Please register via our registration system before 15th November noon.
