Since the National Carbon Emission Trading System launched in July, this visit to the Shanghai Environment & Energy Exchange (SEEE) will provide the opportunity to increase understanding and communication.
Topics will cover the introduction of National carbon emission Trading System, carbon finance, climate investment and financing, and the potential cooperation between EUCCC and SEEE.
The Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange is the designated implementation platform for the Shanghai carbon trading pilot. It is also a trading platform for Chinese Certified Emission Reduction (CCER) registered by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). It has become one of the largest environmental exchanges in the country in terms of scale and business volume.
