The European Chamber Tianjin Chapter is organising a site visit to Chayora (Tianjin) Data Centre on 17th December 2020. During the time, there will be a panel/industry dialogue focusing on providing trusted and sustainable foundation of digital business with Danny Xiaodan Chen, CEO of Banyano Data Centre Consulting ltd., Yali Z. Liu, EVP - Network & Strategy, Chayora and Tigao Zhao, Operations Director, Chayora.
中国欧盟商会天津分会将于2020年12月17日组织参观朝亚天津数据中心活动。届时不仅可以对朝亚数据中心的基础设施参观，还安排了一场以“为数字商业提供可信和可持续的基础”为主题的行业对话活动。北京中科仙络咨询服务有限公司首席执行官程小丹先生将会联同朝亚执行副总裁刘张亚莉女士和朝亚运营总监赵元辅先生为大家讲解数据中心不同的行业标准和解释其重要性，包括Uptime Institute Tier标准和OCP标准。

Speakers
Mr. Danny Cheng
Mr. Danny Cheng currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Banyano Data Center Consulting, Ltd-a leading data center consulting and professional service firm headquartered in Beijing. With its close to 400 employees, Banyano provides high-level service to clients like Huawei, Tencent, Alibaba, JD, China Merchant Bank, alone with many other leading enterprises.
Mr. Cheng is also the Secretary General of LEED Data Center China Advisory Group, a USGBC organization aiming to promote sustainable data centers in China.
Mr. Cheng graduated from Tsinghua University with Electrical Engineering degree. He also has MBA degree from Indiana State University and completed his general management executive education at Harvard Business School.
Danny Cheng is the lead author of From Rookies to Expert- a Data Center Operation Guide(从运维菜鸟到大咖)，a top-selling book in data center field. Danny is also a welcomed speaker at various data center conferences.
Ms. Yali Z. Liu
Ms. Yali Z. Liu joined Chayora in 2020 as Executive Vice President responsible for network connectivity products and solutions, as well as business strategy being a member of the management board of Chayora, supporting delivery of large scalable high performance data centre campuses in China.
Yali has over 15 years of strategic and operational leadership experience in global internet, cloud and data centre development driving transformation supporting business and customer demands worldwide. Yali was Executive Director at Verizon responsible for global network planning, engineering and network product development, leading large geographically dispersed global teams to provide development and operational support for innovative product portfolios while aligning technology strategy with business and financial objectives.
2014-19, Yali was Vice President of ChinaCache responsible for global business development. She was instrumental in driving carrier-neutral data centre and building the first internet exchange (CHN-IX) in mainland China for more effective regional connectivity among cloud and data service providers and ISPs.
Yali holds B.S. in Mathematics from Peking University, MBA from University of Dallas, and M.S. in Computer Sciences from University of Texas in Dallas. Yali has a US patent in Internet technology, and is an advisory board member of the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC).
Mr. Tiger Zhao
Tiger has multiple years of working experience in lead technical roles for Amazon Web Services China. Fluent in English and Mandarin, he has over 5 years’ experience managing capacity delivery and infrastructure operations at AWS datacentres, having built new datacentres in Ningxia and Hong Kong as well as scaling existing datacentres in Beijing, Ningxia and Hong Kong.
Tiger has a proven record working in other multinational companies including Microsoft and Cisco. Tiger graduated in Electronic Engineering and holds qualifications in ITIL and PMP certification.
