Mr. Peter Ling-Vannerus
Peter Ling-Vannerus is responsible for developing and managing the Bank’s Business in Northern China, as well as monitoring the political and economic development of China for SEB. He studied at INSEAD and Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
Mr. Timothée Jaulin
Timothée Jaulin oversees ESG Development & Advocacy for Amundi Asset Management and Special Operations for the Institutional Clients Division. He joined Amundi in 2012 as a Research Associate, and then contributed to the setting-up and development of the Investment Solutions team before being in charge of the coverage of supranational entities globally.
In both capacities, he has been closely involved in the development of some of Amundi most innovative investment solutions including Amundi climate finance offer. Timothée was notably involved in the launch of flagship green finance public-private partnerships such as the Portfolio Decarbonization Coalition with the United Nations Environment Program, green bond development programs with the International Finance Corporation and the European Investment Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank’s Climate Change Investment Framework.
Prior to working in Amundi Paris headquarters, Timothée worked for Amundi in London and New York and for the French Treasury in Washington D.C. Timothée is a graduate from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and holds a Master in Theoretical and Applied Economics from the Paris School of Economics.
Ms. Sáni Zou
Sáni Zou is Climate Change Officer in the Policy and Strategy Vice Presidency of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). Since joining AIIB in 2017, and as the Bank’s first full time staff on climate change, she has been working on setting the Bank’s first climate finance target in the Corporate Strategy, integrating climate change aspects into the Bank’s projects and tracking and reporting on climate finance. She has also supported Treasury and other Bank departments on topics related to sustainability, inter alia, by coordinating AIIB’s first ESG rating.
Prior to joining AIIB, Sáni has worked at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on green growth and climate-related development finance, at the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI), the official think tank of the UNFCCC COP21 Presidency, and at the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Sáni has authored several working papers on climate and green finance and holds an MSC in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
Mr. Albert Khaoutiev
Albert Khaoutiev is currently an associate in the corporate banking department at Bank of China Luxembourg where he supports local and international corporate clients. Albert is an enthusiast of green finance. Prior to that, Albert spent over four years in China where he worked in financial services and executive search. Albert is a Belgian citizen from Russian origin. He holds a master’s degree in international business from HULT International Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business engineering from Solvay Brussels School. He has experience in Europe, Middle East and Asia, and leverages business opportunities between various countries.
Mr. Wenhong Xie
Wenhong Xie is the Head of China programme of Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), an investor-focused NGO that aims at mobilizing capital market for climate change solutions. Based in Beijing, he is responsible for leading the management and development of CBI’s projects and business in mainland China. In addition to managing research projects and liaising with government agencies, multilateral organizations, verifiers, underwriters and institutional investors, Wenhong also provides advice on green bond issuance and certification to support potential green bond issuers such as banks, state-owned enterprises, municipalities, and large corporates.
Prior to joining CBI, he worked as an economist at Tsinghua’s Center for Finance and Development (led by Dr. Ma Jun) and a consultant for the International Finance Corporation, in addition to a number of think tanks and NGOs in environment and international development. Wenhong has a M.A. in International Policy Studies from Stanford University.
Mr. Tao Ren
Tao Ren has 18 years of professional experience in promoting clean energy and environmental sustainability, ranging from technology assessment, project finance, venture capital, private equity to debt financing. He is currently a Senior Loan Officer at the European Investment Bank (EIB), overseeing the Bank's EUR 4 billion portfolio of climate and environment investments in East Asia and Southeast Asia. Previously, he was an Investment Officer at the EIB's Global Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Fund (GEEREF). Before joining the EIB, he worked for Vattenfall’s clean energy fund and JP Morgen’s carbon credit subsidiary. Tao Ren holds a PhD in energy from Universiteit Utrecht in the Netherlands.
