EUCC - Outlook on 14th Five-Year Plan - Final Shared Attendees only |
The fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, to be held in October, will have one main item on its agenda: the 14th Five-Year (2021-2025) Plan for Social and Economic Development. The 13th Five-year plan focused on innovation, further poverty alleviation, environmental development, and international cooperation amongst other policy agendas. It is reported that the main issues for this upcoming five-year plan will center around social welfare, employment, education and the environment.
Undoubtedly all eyes will be on the proposals discussed, as China moves towards its second centenary goal, amongst the backdrop of a volatile geopolitical environment and a recovering economy in the aftermath of a pandemic. In this hybrid event, our speakers will provide insights and expertise on how China will set forth its 14th Five-Year Plan.
