Dear members of ICT Working Group and Cybersecurity Sub-working Group,
The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to the next joint meeting of the ICT Working Group and the Cybersecurity Sub-working Group at 10:00-11:30am, Wednesday, 15th April 2020 via online platform. At this meeting, we will hold the chair elections, update you on a few recent policies and discuss the work plan of both working groups.

- Jane Pan, Managing Director-Strategy & Consulting, Supply Chain & Operations at Accenture, will present about the topic: Rapid Response - A pragmatic approach to maintaining supply chain resilience in times of uncertainty.
- Guang Yang, Director of Service Provider Group at Strategy Analytics, will present about the topic: Impact of COVID-19 on consumer behaviour and business environment.

Elections
The ICT Working Group is going to elect one Chair and two Vice Chairs, i.e.:
- One Chair based in Beijing or Shanghai to serve as the national Chair;
- One Vice Chair based in Beijing or Shanghai to serve as Vice Chair and Local Chair (a Local Chair can only be based in the city where there is no National Chair);
- One Vice Chair based in Beijing or Shanghai.
In addition, the Chair of the Cybersecurity Sub-working Group will automatically become the Vice Chair of the larger ICT Working Group.
The Cybersecurity Sub-working Group is going to elect one Chair and one Vice Chair, i.e.:
- One Chair based in Beijing or Shanghai to serve as the national Chair;
- One Vice Chair based in Beijing or Shanghai to serve as Vice Chair and Local Chair (a Local Chair can only be based in the city where there is no National Chair);
The Chair shall play a key role in driving the development of the Group. With support from the appointed Business Managers (BM), he or she shall promote the Group’s activities and communicate targeted messages on behalf of industry to policy makers and key stakeholders in China and Europe. The Chair shall also serve as spokesperson to raise the Group’s visibility in the media and at relevant events when appropriate. The Vice Chairs shall play a supporting role to the Chair of the Group. The Vice Chairs assist the Chair when needed in driving the development of the Group and can also represent the Group in communicating messages to policy makers and stakeholders in China and Europe. In the absence of the Chair, the Vice Chairs shall take over the responsibilities of the Chair.
Should you be interested in putting your name forward for elections, please send a short biography and a motivation letter, stating whether you intend to run for Chairperson or Vice Chairperson of which working group to Ms. Ziting Zhang at ztzhang@europeanchamber.com.cn before Friday, 10th April 2020, COB. In your Motivation Letter please state why your wish to be elected as Chair or Vice Chair, and provide a set of goals you have for the forum over the next 12 months.
In accordance with European Chamber internal guidelines, another email will be sent to the working group prior to the elections, with the biographies and motivation letters of all candidates attached. Voting for the elections, one vote per company, must be conducted in person at the working group meeting after each candidate has had the opportunity to give a short speech on why they would like to run for election. The duration of the term for both the Chair and the Vice Chairs is one year. All elected Chairpersons must sign the attached Code of Conduct.

Mr. Guang Yang
Mr. Guang Yang
Guang Yang is Director, Service Provider Group based in Beijing, China providing deep insights into the communications service providers, regulatory and device dynamics for China and other key markets in Asia. He tracks network technology developments and their impacts on economics of CSPs, industry structure and regulatory environment.
Mr. Yang brings almost 20 years of experience in the mobile communications industry to Strategy Analytics. Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, he worked for several leading telecom players.
His expertise and reports cover research and development, standardization and strategic analysis for 3G/4G/5G, emerging wireless technologies and the development of the industry ecosystem. Mr. Yang has developed business relationships with Chinese operators, regulators and media players and leads and participates in consulting projects for multiple Strategy Analytics clients including service providers, infrastructure, device and RF components vendors around the world.
Mr. Yang received his BE and ME degree on telecom and information systems from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

Jane is Managing Director of Accenture Strategy & Consulting, leading the Supply Chain & Operation consulting practice. Jane has 20+ years of experience in Supply Chain consulting and operation management mainly for hi-tech, consumer goods, auto and energy companies, with a strong track record of driving business in both MNC and China’s leading companies. Jane has rich supply chain transformation experience from blueprinting to solution and global deployment, her expertise including supply chain strategy and operating model, intelligent supply chain planning, digital procurement, smart manufacturing, fulfillment and logistics, etc.
