Dear Working Group Members,
The Investment Working Group is pleased to invite you to the online meeting “Bracing for Impact: Reinventing Retail and Unlocking E-Commerce Amid COVID-19”, which is taking place on Wednesday, 1st April, 2020, 3:30pm to 5:00pm, on Zoom.
At this meeting, we will host two experts to discuss how COVID-19 is affecting retail, as well as the short- and long-term effects of the outbreak on consumer behavior.
- Li-Xiong Chu, Senior Advisor, Dr2 Consultants will first offer an overview of the ways in which containment strategies around the world are influencing retail and business. Li-Xiong Chu’s presentation will consider the implications of the outbreak for multiple sectors, along with the e-commerce trends that are likely to emerge across existing and new platforms.
- Thomas Graziani, Co-Founder, WalktheChat, will then delve into the impact of COVID-19 on the Chinese digital space and on user behavior. Thomas Graziani’s presentation will put forward social media communication and promotion recommendations during the epidemic and will further examine case studies of companies adapting their digital strategy to this new paradigm.
