Dear Members and Friends,
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China,Shenyang Chapter, German Chamber of Commerce in China and American Chamber of Commerce are delighted to invite you to EHS Compliance Seminar - Environmental Challenges For Manufacturing Companies Through Stricter Law Enforcement In China at 2:00pm on 16th January.
In recent years, many new regulations within the Environmental Protection Law (EPL) were introduced in China and authorities have intensified their law enforcement on industrial companies that violate environmental regulations. As a result, many production plants and factories are facing a new need for action in upgrading their environmental standards or even rectify their manufacturing processes.
Besides, some extreme cases have shown in the past, that in a worst-case scenario, a sudden shutdown of production facilities by environmental law enforcement teams can cause severe shortages of vital parts and negatively affect the supply chain of other companies. These risks create newchallenges for manufacturing companies and will likely increase theoperating costs for their businesses.
This seminar on January 16th in Dalian focuses on the potential risks for manufacturing companies arising from the significantly increasedenvironmental law enforcement in China and invites all management, operations, production, engineering and especially EHS professionals, to discuss and exchange about the general short and long-term consequences for their manufacturing activities in China.
External guest speaker Dr. Falk Lichtenstein, Partner at CMS Beijing will provide an overview of the current regulations in the EPL and share his case experiences. In addition, selected company representatives will share best practices and present the successful implementation of environmental protection projects to the audience as well as giving insights on how to implement these technologies in your production facilities.
