Ms. Lorena Miera Ruiz
Lorena supports foreign investors from Europe, Latin America, and Asia in setting up and developing their projects in China. Lorena’s areas of expertise include establishing wholly foreign-owned enterprises and representative offices in China, along with cross-office project management. Her industry experience includes automotive, packaging, and food & beverage.
Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Lorena worked at both international and domestic law firms in Shanghai. In those roles, her responsibilities included conducting legal research, project management, and translation of legal documents. Lorena holds a master’s degree in Civil and Commercial Law from Fudan University in Shanghai, and a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Alicante in Spain. She is fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and English, and is proficient in French and Chinese.
Ms. Chenchen Liu
Chenchen Liu is a Senior Associate on our Business Advisory Services team at Dezan Shira & Associate’s Shanghai office. She provides professional legal services in various aspects, including but not limited to business investment advisory, contract drafting and reviewing, labor disputes solving, intellectual property registration and M&A service.
Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates Chenchen worked in a domestic law firm in Shanghai, mainly focusing on M&A projects and providing legal services, including M&A restructuring and transaction documents drafting, contract reviewing and commercial negotiation supporting.
Chenchen obtained her LLB in Maritime Law from Shanghai Maritime University, LLM in Commercial Law from University of Edinburgh, and holds the Certificate of Lawyer’s Qualification.
