Graduated in Law at the University of Teramo (Italy), he then subsequently obtained a Masters’ degree in Corporate Advisor at LUISS University in Rome and a Diploma in Chinese Studies at Nanjing Normal University and is a member of the Italian Bar Association.
Mr. D’Andrea arrived in China in 2005 and is fluent in Italian (mother tongue), English, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. He mainly deals with cross-border mergers and acquisitions, assistance in ODI/FDI and intellectual property rights.
He is also acting as National Vice President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.

Michael has more than 20 years of experience in advising international companies on their operations in and with China. He has profound experience advising industrial clients in various sectors, covering all legal aspects of a typical investment deal like market entry and joint ventures, M&A restructuring and exit. Throughout his two decades’ practice, Michael has been gradually converging his energy on technology driven business and has built up his reputation and connections in the circle.

As the first Chinese partner of Taylor Wessing, Michael is now heading the firm's TMC practice for China. Besides his expertise regarding general corporate and commercial matters, he specializes in IT regulatory and data/privacy protection areas. Michael holds CIPP/E certification as granted by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). At the same time, he frequently publishes articles and comments on IT and technology related legal topics.

Michael is National Vice Chair of the Legal & Competition Working Group under the European Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as an arbitrator of the Shanghai International Arbitration Center.

Michael studied law at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing (UIBE), China, where he also completed his LLB and LLM degrees in 1997 and 2000 respectively. In 2006, Michael received his law doctorate from UIBE. In 1997, Michael was admitted to the Chinese bar. After practicing in domestic law firms, he worked in the Beijing office of a major international law firm from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, he joined Taylor Wessing in the Shanghai office. As of 2007, he has been appointed as a partner of Taylor Wessing.

Erica is head of our Transaction Advisory Services practice in Greater China, she is based in Shanghai and have around 20 years of relevant experiences.
Erica has been advising private equity clients and US multinational companies with their inbound investments and acquisitions in China, as well as Chinese clients’ outbound investments in overseas market. In the past decade, she has led hundreds of deals and advised clients with due diligence, sale and purchase agreement negotiations, and completion accounts analysis, with deal size ranged from millions to billions US dollars.
Some of the projects include:
- Advised one of the largest global automotive companies on its joint venture with one of China’s largest state-owned automotive groups.
- Advised a Fortune 50 company with its investment in China, being one of the largest consumer product deals in China.
- Advised one of the largest global private equity firms with its various investments in China, including insurance, chemical, consumer products, retail, hotel, media and healthcare.
- Advised a number of state-owned and private companies with their overseas acquisitions in Europe, the USA and Asia, covering automotive, machinery, healthcare, consumer and retail sectors

Sven Agten (Belgium, 1979°) has been living and working in China for the last 15 years. He speaks Chinese, has an MBA and worked for several SMEs and MNC in China. Currently he is President Asia-Pacific for Rheinzink, a German family-owned MNC. He is also author of a best-selling business book, published in Dutch and German, which describes economic and social trends in China, and business opportunities and challenges of the new China for foreign companies.

Zhen (Katie) FENG is a partner and director of Hogan Lovells (Shanghai) Intellectual Property Agency Service Co., Ltd., an IP service affiliate established under Hogan Lovells International LLP. She is a founding member of the Shanghai office and started our IP practice there in 2003. Before Hogan Lovells, Katie worked in a Chinese law firm as a litigator for 4 1/2 years. Katie handles all IP matters but focuses particularly on IP litigation in China. She has handled some very high profile IP infringement cases including in 2016 obtaining an unprecedented interim injunction against a Chinese copycat on behalf of a US based software company.

Katie is a former member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) Board of Directors and a former chief editor of INTA's China Bulletin publication.

冯女士曾经担任国际商标协会董事会董事，并曾经多年担任国际商标协会《中国商标通讯》的主编。
