As you may know, every year, the President of the European Chamber leads a delegation of senior representatives to present the annual Position Paper to high level representatives of the European Union Institutions in Brussels. This year the trip took place in the last week of September. In an effort to create awareness about this important initiative and to follow up on the outcome of these high level meetings, the Chamber would like to invite you to a meeting for a debriefing session with Massimo Bagnasco, VP of the Chamber.

At the second edition of the European Chamber’s annual Artificial Intelligence Conference on Tuesday 27th November 2018, an array of speakers from academia and industry will discuss current trends in the application of AI in autonomous driving and flying, facial recognition and virtual private assistants, as well as recent breakthroughs in research related to AI and machine learning.

欧盟委员会智库——欧洲政治战略中心一项近期研究显示，人工智能及其应用将大幅提高效率和生产率，显著降低制造业成本。2018年4月25日，欧盟委员会发布了名为《欧盟人工智能》的政策文件，提出了一系列旨在增强欧盟在该领域竞争力的举措。

与此同时，中国政府也出台了诸多人工智能相关的战略政策，旨在将中国转变为全球人工智能的领军者。习近平在中共中央政治局2018年10月31日就人工智能发展现状和趋势的学习时再次强调，人工智能是新一轮科技革命和产业变革的重要驱动力量，并呼吁推动新一代人工智能健康发展。

值此之际，中国欧盟商会非常荣幸邀请人工智能领域的学者和企业代表，共同探讨人工智能在传统领域的应用，以及传统企业应如何在人工智能时代保持话语权。
