The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) issued the finalized regulation relating to labour dispatch (namely, the Interim Provisions on Labour Dispatch) on 24 January 2014. The Labour Dispatch Regulations takes effect from 1 March 2014. With the transitional provisions, enterprises could handle the issue within two years after the effective date of the Interim Provision ( i.e., before 1 March 2016)

On the day, the Chinese celebrates gathering (such as family and family gathering), thanksgiving (giving thanks for the harvest) and praying (for babies, a spouse, or longevity).
