We are delighted to invite you to the next joint Banking & Securities and Consumer Finance Working Group meeting to be held on Tuesday, 10th June, starting at 8:30am at the European Chamber’s Office in Beijing (please refer to the address above).
 
At this meeting we will have the honor and pleasure to welcome Mr. Simon Gleave, Beijing-based Partner in charge of KPMG's Asia-Pacific Financial Services Practice. He will deliver a presentation focusing on Shadow Banking in China.

At this meeting, the Chairs of the Banking & Securities Working Group will debrief the members of the meeting with Mr. Qi Jianming, Deputy Director-General, Banking Supervision Department III, CBRC. This will open the discussion on PBOC Circular No.127 on Regulating the Inter-bank Business of Financial Institutions.

1. Presentation on Shadow Banking in China by Mr. Simon Gleave, Partner, Asia-Pacific Financial Services Practice
2. Debriefing on the meeting between the European Chamber and Mr. Qi Jianming, Deputy Director-General, Banking Supervision Department III, CBRC on Wednesday, 28th May.
3. Discussion on PBOC Circular No.127 on implication of the inter-bank lending limitations for branches of foreign banks, consumer finance and auto finance companies.
