The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, PRD Chapter invites members to participate in roundtable meeting with experts - Navigating Challenges of Customs Audits in China.
Customs audit can be divided into 3 types based on their audit targets, certificate audit, focused audit and general audit. Customs conduct certificate audit aiming to find out whether the enterprises qualify for the customs administrative grading (e.g. AA/A) they apply for. For focused audit, enterprises which are engaged in complex processing trading activities with large import or export amount, or in specific industries could be the targets, and the risk for focused audit is always high. And any enterprises which have not been audited by Customs during the past 3 years could be another target of the Customs for a general audit. If your company is one of the above, it is important for the company to know how to handle these audits and manage Customs related risks during the course of an audit.
Invited experts on Customs audits in China will cover
