The topic is “The Up-to-date Trends, Prospects, and Discussions on Practices - Analysis on Guoshuifa (2011) No. 50 ("Circular 50") and the Relevant PRC IIT and Social Insurance Hot Topics“
The State Administration of Taxation ("SAT") issued the Circular 50 regarding "the intensified PRC IIT administration on high-income individuals" in April 2011. The Circular 50 has been issued in the context of the proposed PRC IIT reform. The PRC IIT reform aims at reducing the tax burden for lower-income groups and moderately increasing the tax on high-income groups and high-income industries.
On September 8, 2011, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security promulgated the "Provisional Measures for Foreigners to participate in the PRC Social Insurance Schemes. The new rules will impact all foreign nationals working in China either as local employee of the PRC entities or on secondment by their foreign employers. The implementation rule will take effect officially from October 15, 2011.
The seminar aims to navigate you through the new tax administration policies and social insurance requirements. During the seminar we will focus on the following topics:
