The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and the SwissCham Beijing are delighted to invite you to a breakfast seminar on food safety issues in China at Kempinski Hotel Beijing on Thursday 21st January.
Food safety is an issue of increasing importance for businesses operating in, or serving the food industry. The new Food Safety law, launched on June 1 2009, has had major implications for all businesses in the sector, implications that managers need to be aware of and understand.
All along the supply chain - from component manufacturers and raw material producers through manufacturer and retailers - businesses are increasingly expected to know what materials or ingredients are in their products, from where they came and whether or not they comply with safety regulations and certifications.
So what does this mean for your business? Join us for this seminar, where our invited specialists – both leading experts on food safety in China - will share with you their insights on recent developments in food safety in China, as well as their analysis of the new Food Safety Law and its impact on the food industry.
