We are happy to invite you to the next meeting of the Banking Working Group to take place on
Thursday, 5th November, starting at 9am, in our Shanghai offices.
At this meeting we will invite Ms. Blandine Cantrel, Avocat a la Cour, Gide Loyrette Nouel to provide us within an update on the recent developments and the legal framework of the Chinese derivative market, covering NAFMII.
We will also take the opportunity to discuss a number of opportunities proposed in recent meetings with the regulators, including:
An invitation from CBRC Shanghai to arrange a cooperative event with the European Chamber examining Shipping and Finance in Shanghai An invitation from PBOC Shanghai to directly address them we our key relevant concerns in writing
Proposed agenda:
1) Presentation from Ms. Blandine Cantrel on developments in the Chinese Derivatives market.
2) Overview of recent Banking WG Position Paper presentation meetings with Liu Ming Kang (Chairman, CBRC), the Shanghai Municipal Government Financial Services Office, and the PBOC Shanghai.
3) Discussion on potential future cooperation with CBRC Shanghai regarding Shipping and Finance in Shanghai. Invitation for proposals and ideas.
4) Discussion of content of follow-up letter to go to PBOC Shanghai.
5) Any other affairs.
