Under China's current tax and customs management system, multinational corporations are likely to face the problem of being questioned and asked to adjust import related prices by both departments at the same time. On May 18, 2022, Shenzhen took the lead in launching the collaborative management system of customs and tax transfer pricing to coordinate the long-term problems of double recognition of prices and repeated taxation between customs and tax by means of cross departmental cooperation. Through the joint signing and implementation of the memorandum by the tax bureau, the customs and the enterprise, ensures that the tax bureau and the customs have the same caliber of collaborative management on the pricing of enterprise related transactions.
