Dear Members,
The European Chamber’s Banking and securities Working Group is delighted to invite you to its next working group meeting “2022 Kick-off Meeting: Chair Election and Position Paper Discussion” which is going to take place on Friday 1st April, 10.00-12.00 am.
The first part of the meeting will be a summary of our advocacy work in 2021, followed by the long-anticipated Working Group Chair & Vice-chair Election. Candidates running for the election shall make a three- to five-minutes speech on the day to introduce themselves, state why they should be elected as well as their goals for the Working Group. Only Banking and securities Working Group members who have their registration confirmed for this meeting will have the right to vote, with one vote per bank.
The second part of the meeting will be the 2022/3 Position Paper Discussion.

Should you be interested in putting your name forward for election, please send your CV and Motivation Letter, stating whether you intend to run for Chair or Vice Chair to Ms. Nan Song at nsong@europeanchamber.com.cn by latest Friday 25th March. In your Motivation Letter please state why your wish to be elected Chair or Vice Chair and provide a set of goals you have for the WG over the next 12 months as well as your intended contribution to the Position Paper. To familiarise yourself with the Code of Conduct and responsibilities as chairs, please refer to the attached Starter Kit.
